About the Practitioners

Massage Therapy is something I've always been interested in and always used before I ever thought about making it a career. I know first-hand the benefits of massage and love passing that on to others.

I enjoy the fact that people are able to come see me when their muscles need attention or when they just want to relax. I love helping people and what better way to do that than making them feel amazing!

My practice philosophy is patience. You can't rush relaxation and you can't rush a stubborn muscle. My pace is usually pretty slow while I am practicing.

When I'm not massaging I really like to be active whether it's mountain biking, or being at the gym. I also really enjoy going to pro sports games, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends!

I am passionate about Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Massage Therapy. I enjoy helping people who have chronic problems. I like the challenge and opportunity to provide healing to their issues.

I first got into massage because I always wanted to do something in the medical field. Massage Therapy seemed the most appealing to me. The more I learned about it, the more intrigued I became. In school as I learned the techniques it came very natural to me. I am very happy and love what I do!

When I'm not massaging I enjoy spending quality time with my family - at home relaxing, or going to the park, riding bikes, bowling, or a trip to the movie theaters. I also enjoy working out at the gym. I like to do yoga, step, pilates, and zumba classes. I also love to dance!

I come to my work as a massage therapist from a career as a figurative artist, making drawings of the human figure for many years. My time as an artist fundamentally informs my work as a massage therapist.

My love and knowledge of human anatomy underlies both my art making and my work as a massage therapist. Human anatomy is detailed and amazing. Understanding the body visually and by touch is key to my practice.

Good art is about feeling, as is effective massage therapy. Touch is fundamental to healing and human wellbeing, as is being-in-the-moment during a massage therapy session.

I am gratified by results. It is wonderful for me to know that my therapeutic massage has reduced a client’s pain or helped a client to relax. I continue to seek opportunities to enhance my ability to help my clients through workshops and other educational opportunities. From Swedish relaxation to trigger point therapy, to myofascial release, to sports pathologies, I continue to seek better ways to implement effective outcomes for my clients.
